-    Seminar 2   -

Thematic Writing/Self-editing

How do you turn real-life events into a story people want to read? This five-day seminar is designed to teach you the art of writing a book based on real events. We will learn how to craft a scene, write gripping dialogue, and layer themes to create a narrative with great impact.

Dates: 22-26 October, 2018
Speaker: Janice Rogers
Location: Restenäs, Sweden
Cost: 300€ (includes tuition, room, and board for 6 nights)

Thematic writing is used to create non-fiction ‘teaching’ books, books designed to inform, inspire, or persuade. If you have a message you’d like to get across, this seminar will give you tools to communicate your ideas with logic, clarity, and excitement, so your message will be as impactful as possible. Also included in this seminar will be a teaching on how to edit your own work, beginning with big-picture revisions to improving the text on a line-by-line basis.

Dates: 29 October – 2 November, 2018
Speaker: Janice Rogers
Location: Restenäs, Sweden
Cost: 300€ (includes tuition, room, and board for 6 nights)
